Genetically Engineered animals and their ethical impact on Politics and Law: In this case the FDA would have to be extremely careful asking the scientist if it's safe to eat and if it's safe for the animal. The FDA has already approved for animals to be genetically engineered but they have to go through a 7 step process so that they are entirely sure that it is safe for the public to consume.
Facts:
- FDA is getting involved.
- Already has approved genetic testing on animals.
Pros:
- More Food.
- Resistant to harmful diseases.
- Reproduce faster.
- Leaves behind less damaging waste.
Cons:
- Painful for animals.
- Slaughtering for no reason.
- Animals dies in experiments.
- Animals might be born with deformities.

Genetically Engineered plants and their ethical impact on Politics and Law: There is issues between groups about the laws of genetically engineered foods. Many people say that the foods should be label as genetically engineered. Others argue its not worth the time because people will buy whatever's cheapest and way and the cheapest foods are the GE foods.
Facts:
- Argument on if the law should be passed for GE labeling.
- GE foods are much cheaper then organic
Pros:
- GE foods are cheaper.
- GE foods do have genetic changes.
- More resistant to disease.
Cons:
- Might have health effects.
- There's environmental damage.

Genetically Engineered humans and their ethical impact Politics and Law:
Although there is not specific law that makes genetically engineering humans illegal, some people think that it is immoral and not ethical. With Genetic Engineering, scientists can create a baby that is the way you want it to be.
Although there is not specific law that makes genetically engineering humans illegal, some people think that it is immoral and not ethical. With Genetic Engineering, scientists can create a baby that is the way you want it to be.
Facts:
- The ability to directly manipulate the genes of plants and animals was developed during the late 1970's!
- In 1985 the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) approved somatic gene therapy trials, but said that it would not accept proposals for germ-line manipulation "at present."
Pros:
- Parents can pick how they want their child to be
- Diseases can be eliminated and removed
Cons:
- What happens when a human is genetically engineered? Do they become the companies property?
- What happens when something goes wrong?
